It's hard not to lose yourself chasing these useless products that carry no essence
And our lives are lived out on our own silver screen That keeps score and keeps time keeps our false memories

We've forgotten the simple pleasures that surround us because we're glued to one hundred devices
With our head in the clouds we make strangers of our family and ghosts of our friends
While we neglect our needs we splurge on materialistic bullshit because we're told that is the key to happiness
