Well it came about That men began to multiply on the face of the Earth and daughters were born of them And they took them as brides, as brides on the face of the Earth And waters above Will come to down waters below Water in the sky And baby, we're gonna die But there's a guy A righteous man in his own time You are righteous Yeah you are righteous And baby, I'm righteous too! And baby, I'm righteous too!

Seems we're playing shirts and skins again And all the blood won't atone for our sins Looks like you're giving, getting head again A friend What a bend In the dirt road ahead In the dirt road ahead You've got a nerve to show your face in here A loud mouth and a taste for the girls Looks like your turning their heads again A friend On the bend The dirt road ahead The dirt road ahead Since you lost all your self control The pretty girls wanna put on their show Dollar bills and an arm full of smack What a crack In the back Give me a heart attack The dirt road ahead Torn dress and a torn up face Neon lights take you in embrace Red devils lined in your hand What a man In the clan Back of the van The dirt road ahead Now you're layin in the streets my friend And all the people they're a kicking your shit Fifty cents for a call to your pimp What a bitch Flip the switch The dirt road ahead The dirt road ahead

Living your life With a throat and a knife A slip slip slip And a double down drip Life is a blood sport When you live in the A Feet melt on boulevard Your time is a drain Baby… Where did our love go? Why did we grow old? Why did we grow old? Seventy people On Glenwood Ave I see Alex Weiss At the Echo Lounge He's got a show for you And it's a real time Baby… Where did our love go? Baby… Why did we grow old? Bobby Ubange Hippin' it with Black Lips I see Carbonas and Beat Beat Beat Something tells me That love never ends Baby… Where did our love go? Baby… Why did we grow old?

Once upon a time I was an uncommon man Living by a street sign It said quarter horse drive And the people in my neighborhood were fearful That blacks would come and they would take us as victims You made sure to lock your doors 'Cuz the crack baby Jesus was just an inch away We had nothing we lived as kings in a gilded zoo And we lived in a shelter We feared people from the grave yard We had a golden ghetto There were blue hairs I wanted blue hair They called me a weirdo I called them a norm-y It was 2001 And you were a cutter We spent our time thinking I'd write a movie We had nothing we lived as kings in a guilded zoo They called you Christy And called me Sissy I'll never miss those days of old

After the fire Comes a whisper It comes like a feeling It comes like believing It's not in the mountains It's not in the earthquakes My heart is exploding I know I'm becoming
8.
Well wine is fine But liquor is quicker I’ve got a nervous twitch I’m down in a ditch Well we’re all fucked up But the future looks brighter I’m feeling inspired And I’m living in a pig pen You're thinking daydreams I'm thinking nightmares Everything's believing There's no achieving It’s all a sham Be true to the Big Man This is the master plan You are a destroyer And I said goodbye Pulled plugs and I die I’m gonna be literally speaking No more time to make the meaning That’s what I’m screaming ’til the end of the world
9.
We are in a constant state of becoming. Our bodies constantly regenerating Meaning that physically speaking you are not the person you were You as the body with a conscience You not the same as you once were The only part of you that isn't replaced By ebb and flow of time Is a little jitter box concept called The Cerebrial Cortex We aren't people with bodies We are bodies with people

Men, listen to your mothers And preach to your daughters Daughters, listen to your fathers And preach to your brothers Brothers, listen to your mothers And sing to your lovers Sisters, listen to your fathers 'Cuz they be like your mothers

Winter comes creeping in at first No one notices until it bursts It's not human nature to expect the worst so when it finally hits, it hurts And no matter how bad things may go I can always count on you - to say you told me so to ask me if I've had enough and "Wouldn't it be better if I just gave up?"

about

After knowing each other for many years in the Atlanta music scene, friends Todd Caras (Feeding Fingers) and Patrick A. (The Love Drunks/Can!!Can) finally put a band together around a mutual love of dark rock bands from the 70's and 80's. The duo recruited Bryan Paul Baker through an ad in Creative Loafing.
